Time to start another experiment, this time in relation to “EFT” or the “Emotional Freedom Technique”.
Now, as I understand it (and I’ll be able to understand it better when I’ve done all the preliminary reading and so forth in a day or two) EFT involves focusing on difficult physical or emotional issues, and tapping specific points on meridian lines (ie.the invisible lines that many people ancient and modern believe and believed carry subtle energy around the body).
The starting point
I also ought to say that I’m not starting this with quite a clean slate…Someone who was practising their technique on me, about five years ago gave it a go…and I ended up feeling dizzy and a little strange…and that was all.
Not a ringing endorsement so far. But some of the best things in life only appear when you try them again from a different perspective (asparagus springs to mind for me…but maybe that is just me
.
Also, I have a pain in my ankle that I’d really like to shift, so there’s a good incentive too.
So the hunt begins for good resources to share.
More tomorrow.
Clare
